School Uniform
At Breachwood Green JMI School, we understand the financial pressures families can face, and we aim to keep the cost of school uniform as low as possible. We carefully select uniform items that are affordable, durable, and widely available, and we offer support to families who may need help accessing them. Wearing the correct uniform helps children feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school, and it promotes equality and unity across the school community. We appreciate parents’ cooperation in ensuring their child comes to school dressed appropriately each day, as it reinforces our shared values and helps create a positive learning environment for all.
School Uniform Requirements
Trousers/shorts: Grey traditional school wear
Dresses: Grey Pinafore Dress/Blue and white checked summer dress
Skirts: Grey traditional school wear
Polo Shirt: Plain white (worn tucked in)
Cardigan or Jumper: Navy Blue – with school logo*
Socks/tights: Plain grey, white, navy or black
Footwear: Plain black school shoes or trainers/ankle boots are allowed in winter
Accessories
Hair: These must be for practical reasons and brown, black or blue.
Jewellery: Simple watches may be worn (no smart watches). Only stud earrings allowed and these must be taken out for PE.
PE Uniform Requirements
Joggers/shorts: Navy only
T-shirt: Blue with school logo*
Trainers: These must be sports trainers not fashion trainers
Jumper: Navy Blue – with school logo*
Items with an asterisk should be purchased from the school office.
